Design car lettering
Your company name, phone number and website on your company car, van or trailer. Design the letters yourself, see the price at actual size straight away and order them as individual vinyl letters in Oracal 751 cast vinyl.

Design car lettering yourself
Car lettering turns your vehicle into a moving business card. You type your text, choose a font and a vinyl colour, and set the dimensions in centimetres. In the designer you see the result on an example of a van, so you get a feel for the proportions. There is no background around it: only the letters themselves go on the paintwork, so it looks professional.
Measure, design and apply
- Measure the area. Measure the flat area on the door or side and enter that width and height in the designer.
- Design your text. A name, phone number and website are enough. Choose a font and a vinyl colour with good contrast.
- Apply them yourself. Your letters come on application tape, so everything goes on in the right place in one go.
Which vinyl do we use?

We use Oracal 751, a cast vinyl from ORAFOL. Cast vinyl is thinner and more supple than ordinary calendered vinyl, so it follows the slight curves of a car body better.
The manufacturer gives an indicative outdoor durability of several years for this vinyl; exactly how long it lasts depends on the position on the vehicle, the weather and maintenance. You choose from 17 colours, including white, black, red, blue, yellow and metallic finishes.

Tips for a clearly legible result
-
Choose contrast
White or yellow letters on a dark car, black or dark blue letters on a light car.
-
Keep it short
A name, a phone number and a website are enough. The less text, the larger the letters can be.
-
Measure the area
Measure the flat area on the door or side and enter that width and height in the designer.
-
Avoid ribs and trim strips
Apply on a flat, smooth piece of paintwork. Keep number plates, lights and the driver's view clear.
Ordering and applying
Your letters are delivered on application tape, so all letters go on in the right place in one go. How to do that is explained in our application guide.
