Custom boat name stickers

A boat name belongs to the character of your vessel. In the designer you choose a font that suits your boat, from a classic serif to a bold block letter. You type the name, add a second line for the home port if you like and set the letter size in centimetres. The example on a boat helps you with the proportions.

Suitable for boats?

Oracal 751 is a cast vinyl that the manufacturer lists for, among other things, vehicles and boats. Apply the letters to a clean, smooth and dry surface such as gelcoat or polyester above the waterline.

Note. On rough, porous, badly dented or freshly painted surfaces, adhesion may disappoint. We do not recommend vinyl below the waterline or on antifouling.

Tips

  • Look at the spot

    There is often little space on the transom: measure first and enter the dimensions.

  • Choose a clear colour

    White or black are timeless; gold or silver metallic gives a classic look.

  • Combine colours

    Want the name in one colour and the home port in another? Use several vinyl layers in the designer.

  • Apply in dry weather

    Preferably not in full sun.
